Today Luna, my 10 week old Tripod GSD puppy and I started THE WALK.

What a change! I mean it's mind boggling! The unruly, stubborn, shoe biter I left the house with was nowhere to be seen when we returned after our first walk! And ALL I DID was to relax, put my shoulders back and keep my head up!!!!! I left the leash relaxed and began a slow paced walk. At first there was some dissention but I didn't let it infect my energy. When I felt myself getting doubtful I'd breathe out the bad and breathe in the good calm energy. We walked about thirty feet in one direction and then I'd turn around and go in the opposite direction. She didn't want to walk to the north so that was about insisting that she follow me and eventually she did. The south direction she wanted to go so that was about keeping her behind me. We went up and back about five times. On the fifth time she walked right behind me. IN fact I had to turn around and look to see if She'd slipped the leash! She walked this way for me all the way back to the house and up the steps!!!I know this is just the beginning and I will have to repeat this over and over but now I have certainty that our future is going to be AWESOME!

This is miraculous stuff! Just wanted to share. All my previous dogs have been well behaved but not obedient, this time things are going to be different. I'm more than willing to put in the time and effort now. My peace of mind is restored and I have every confidence that I am doing the right thing for my dog.

Thank you Cesar!

Fantastic!  Keep up the good work!!  The walk, when done properly, has the potential to resolve a multitude of issues, especially with the strong breeds like your GSD, pitbulls, rotties, etc.

Tomorrow morning -- sometime -- my Golden girls will get their exercise on the treadmill.  Our road is way too busy to walk on, even without a dog or two in tow, so our winter walks are usually done at PetSmart or on the treadmill (depending on the weather).

AWESOME!!!!! Keep up the great work! Just keep in mind there may be setbacks as your dog is still a young pup. But stay in that zone you were in today and it'll all balance out! You make made it miraculous!
