Just adopted a new puppy(Zane) on Sunday. Not sure about his parentage. Anyone have ideas about what breed he is?
I would say, Zane resembles an Austrailian Cattle dog mix. He's a very handsome boy!
He is a very common breed of puppy. It's called "Totally Adorable"! That is the cutest puppy! I vote for Australian Shepard!

I vote for a bit of Border Collie in there, which is not so different from Australian Shepherd anyway.
Im 99% sure theres some austailian cattle dog in there! beautiful puppy, my uncle used to breed them and stopped a year ago. Im not seeing austrailian shepherd though, they generaly have brown eyebrows with there spots and a bit longer fur and more floppy ears. Cattle dogs on the other had had dalamation in there lines so most have spots, and they have pointed ears, if he starts herding stuff, just to let you know cattle dogs were bred to herd cattle. Beautiful pup

Maybe Mcnabb to since he has a longer wedge shaped head, they are commomly mistaken as border collies and the breed doesnt get enough credit, beautiful dogs, they are also herding dogs =]
