  • Two dogs that excessively bark

We just joined up with Sessions with Cesar today. We took our two dogs, Maggie and Tucker, for a walk. Tucker is fine on the walks, as his breed is Great Pyrenees. Maggie, on the other hand, is Border Collie/Shepard, and is very anxious to get going. Our first day was challenging. We found that they...

  • Barking - How do you stop it

I'm working on recall, walking and "nothing in life is free" with the pack. I know that for best results, purchasing professional training sessions will be required. Until I can fit it into the budget, it's just me and the advise I get here. And everyone has been great! Thank you all...

Basically my situation is that I live at home with my parents who have two minature fox terriers, I have a maltese terrier who does not live at home yet, but I would like to introduce him into the home. • How do you correct growling\barking\huffing and puffing?

I am struggling with how to fix this behavioral issue with my dog. I have been walking her twice a day for two months now, and she is always tired when we get back but it doesn't stop her from doing this. Most times if she hears something outside (I live in an apartment and people are always coming...

  • Quick fix for barking (sort of...not really)

Every time my pack of 3 dogs goes for a walk, or gets in the truck to go to the dog park, my one-year-old has a 30-second barking fit before we head out. I'm pretty sure he is herding the other 2 dogs. I wait for him to calm down, then we proceed. Apparently the 30-seconds of barking is too much...

About 3 months ago, I brought home a brown Labradoodle, Baxter, to join 5 year old Monty. When I met him, he was very sweet and laid back. I brought him home and now everything has changed, including Monty's behavior. Baxter alternates from being very sweet, affectionate and subdued to becoming a...

  • How do you stop your dog from being a guard dog?

This is what happened...what should I have done and what should I do now? I was in my classroom on a Saturday helping my godson graduate from high school. We'd been at writing essays for 3 hours. Sierra had run and played fetch earlier so she was just laying down on the floor, near us in the back...

  • Re: Can it be?

I think Belgian Malinois are protection type dogs, and it is natural for them to alert you to any perceived threat. Dogs can certainly read your body language, and even detect smells that indicate your reaction to people. Muttley is a similar breed, and depending on circumstances he may bark and lunge...
