| More About the dog | Mica is shaping into a great dog. I cannot believe how easily she housebroke! In fact, she is the first dog I’ve ever had who was completely housebroke by this age – five months. She even goes to the door and pulls the bell (we have a bell on a rope tied to the door knob) to be taken out. I think she learned so quickly because I have a 10 year old German Shepherd who she idolizes and wants to copy. She plays great with other dogs and is slowly building her confidence in new situations. She also is the only puppy I’ve raised who doesn’t nip. Of-course it helps getting her loads of exercise, teaching obedience daily and making sure she has a good chew toy or bone at all times. The funniest thing she does is when she gets really excited she does what looks like cartwheels! She actually lifts one leg off the ground and rolls forward. I think she is trying out for the Olympics! |
