just an update, doberman rescue called and is coming in to assist in the socialization of harley. She said from watching him that it is not aggression he has, its a fear of people in general because he has never been around people. She also said to not feed into their jealousy of each other and if bear and harley both want attention and bear is growling

In reply to Jofi, say we get home and all the dogs come running to get greeted and petted, we cannot pet all 3 together because Harley is so excited he is trampling the little dogs, so you have to pet the poms separately from harley to avoid the problem but yes they all get attention all the same.

Me and my current husband just got married 3 years ago,so he had no hand in raising the Poms. We done like you said and immediately told him no and placed him in his pen for about

I thank you for your honesty. Should we bring in the cage for punishment or what should we do to correct his unwanted behavior? I am honestly at a loss until we can find help. I used to own a Doberman before for 14 years and he was the most loving protective dog ever. Harley on the other hand has me stumped. Please I would appreciate suggestions until

First of all I would like to say thank you very much for your quick response, Harley has received a reprieve. Let me start by telling you we have 2 other Poms, one female Baby, and one male Bear. I have had them for 11 years since they was pups and Bear is a very dominant male as well, he is rather spoiled but he wants love and affection. Harley does

  • AGGRESSION TOWARDS OTHER FAMILY PETS

We have a doberman that is a little over 2 years old that has very bad aggression towards our 11 year old Pomeranian. We are taking him to a shelter or putting him down if we cannot figure out something and fast. Just today Harley our Doberman was sleeping on the couch when our Pom came into the living room to look out the window, Harley jumped off
