Did your dog have this problem before she was spayed or has it started since then? In either event, have you had her checked over by the vet for possible UTI's? I think this would be the first step if it hasn't been done. Sylvia

Were any of these trainers behavourists? Training may not necessarily be what this dog needs first. A behaviourist may be able to assess the whole group of dogs and how they interact with each other and with you to pinpoint what the actual problem is. I would get him checked by your vet first, just in case this is something to do with the recent surgery. Don't shake your dog or do anything other than quietly take him outside when this happens until you have ruled out any medical cause. There are a lot of knowlegable folk here who can give you good advice on how to deal with this problem, but

I don't know of any way to make people 'see' if they don't want to, apart from showing by example that what you are doing works. It is very hard when you can't take the dogs out for walks though, as this would probably be the best way to start. Do you have stairs in your house? If you do you could try throwing a toy for them to chase
