Good Morning Christina,
You are on the Session's program? As you are posting on the VIP forum, have you done the Pack Leader lessons and the puppy lesson?
We have had the great fortune to have 2 pups in our rescue recently. One being an 8 week old and one a 7 month old wirehair.
The 8 week old we did as mentioned in Cesar's New ...

Just some options...our breed is very prone to SA.. This is what we do as a rescue shelter home:
1.) lots of exercise...walks before you leave. No talk, no touch, no eye contact.
2.) Kongs filled with something she loves, frozen so it will take longer to get out of the Kong. (search Kong Recipes in the search box, as I have posted ...

Have you signed up for Sessions With Cesar? The entire family can join in on the lessons and all become Pack Leaders at the same time. With all of the exercises, printouts...video instruction...this would be a tremendous way to unite the family into the process!

So in came ...

But in the meantime, have you considered a soft muzzle. ...

Hi Missh..
I wouldn't personally let her off lead at a park until these issues were resolved. Would be a shame and disaster for her to bite someone, and be taken away. Do you have the Mastering Leadership series DVD's from Cesar? They are great...and the new book ''A Member fo the Family'' has so much information on bringing a dog into the ...

Tammy...I love your new photo!
I need to change mine also.
The forum is a perfect place to list what we are doing with our own shelter dogs....there are many of us doing shelter rehabilitation on a daily basis.

Mylinda,
That is wonderful and very inspiring. Cesar's concepts help so many people, in so many ways. It is amazing how being calm assertive has helped me in my job as a teacher, to rehabilitate our rescue dogs, to handle my children, and to get in touch with my energy.
Assessing energy in our potential adopters, introducing ...
