  • Can This Marriage be Saved?

I love this episode because it shows how good Cesar really is when an animal challenges him.  I have seen alot of dogs like Wendall, and I thought it was the best episode for being educated on agression.  Most of the episodes that deal with this subject were mostly about small dogs...This episode taught me alot!  I ...

  • Separation anxiety in rescue/rehab dog that adopted us

Hello to all, I just found Sessions With Cesar while looking for any books or videos by Cesar. Here is our story. While doing yard work a couple of weeks ago, I found myself being followed by a little black dog. He wouldn't let me pet him but he would lay about three feet away from me, follow me everywhere I went etc. When my husband came home ...

  • Re: Family dogs fight

Thank you for the great information. They don't really seem to fight over any set thing.  I do notice that when we get company they tend to get edgy with each other.  I'll definitely check out the episode with the three german shepards.  My lab does tend to raise the hair on her neck and back when she gets aggitated, most of the ...

  • Family dogs fight

We have two dogs (australian shepard/lab mix - 9 yrs old & yellow lab - 8 yrs old).  They have been raised together, both are spayed females.  We've had a terrible time over the years with them fighting.  Once or twice a year they will fight almost like they're going to kill each other.  We've had numerous vet visits.  ...

  • Re: Our pit bull mix bit a stranger; what should we do?!?

Im not sure where you are located at but there are several places in south dakota that take pits and rehabilitate them. Most of them are rescued and such like that here. This makes me mad though, not at you but other people who think pit bulls are so mean and aggressive. It's very rare if pitbulls are aggressive towards humans its mainly other ...

  • Aggresive on leash?

Early on when I got my dog I took him to the dog park a lot. He'd pull a bit but once I let him off his leash and he'd be playing with other dogs no problem. There is however a problem while he's on leash. He seems to be more aggressive on leash i.e. barking, growling, lunging. It seems to be selective with the dogs he does this too also, ...

  • Cole 65lb. Peruvian Inca Hairless/Lab mix bit our 3yr. old Daughter! help!

Hi, I'm new to forums, so please excuse and improper etiquette. We have two dogs, Tasha and Cole.  The are 55lbs. & 65lbs Peruvian Inca Hairless/Lab mix.  Just beautiful dogs.  We got them from a rescue shelter after a breeder tried to breed the hairless version, (top dollar) until the lab got in the mix.  We were told ...

  • Re: Bulldog puppy, dominant over my daughter, snapped at her today!-New to forum help!

I wish you guys could have seen the episode I saw the other day.  Cesar did such a great job (duh) of teaching these little French bulldogs to stop trying to eat the vacuum.  He did that touch and his ''no'' sound in addition to owning the vacuum.  He also told the owner to be sure to not back away from the dogs as she went to ...

  • Agression: Adding a new dog to existing dog family

We have a female 3/4 Shepherd, 1/4 Rottie mix.  We got her from rescue 8 years ago.  She's aproximately 10 years old & a great dog.  We've had other dogs ''in & out'' of the house & haven't had alot of problems.  ''Cycie'' stays inside most of the time.  She's very friendly.  However, we just adopted a new ...
